Coordinate Plane Artwork

How to draw your favorite characters from point A to point B

When I first came to Belleville, a fellow math teacher, Thomas Colli, introduced me to a fun new concept. For several years now, he has done very creative pieces of art, logos, and cartoon characters by redrawing them on a standard Cartesian coordinate plane. His work quickly inspired me to add drawings of my own to his collection.

Presented here is my present collection. To be able to do these drawings, you will need a sheet of graph paper and a working knowledge of the coordinate plane. If you are not familiar with how to plot coordinates, I have provided a written tutorial in the table below along with the pictures.

(NOTE: COORDINATES FOR ALL DRAWINGS ARE CORRECT AS OF 12/26/09. I WILL BE CHECKING THE OTHER DRAWINGS FOR ADJUSTMENTS, BUT IF YOU SPOT ANY MISTAKES IN ANY OF THESE BEFORE I DO, CONTACT ME. ALSO, ALL UPDATED COORDINATE LISTS SHOULD NOW FIT ON ONE PAGE WHEN PRINTED.)
