I've been "Hooked On Sonics" (Sorry, had to let that one out :-) since February 8, 1997. I became a fan because of the events in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic book run by Archie Comics. At that time, writer Ken Penders was planning for the death of Princess Sally Acorn the following month. The news got me hooked, and even though it was proven to be untrue, I'm still a Sonic fan today more than ever, and I have quite an impressive comic collection to prove it.
